I was perusing the board as I haven't visited for a while, when all of a sudden it changed!! Looks very fresh and clean, although the green is a bit vibrant for my eyes. Might have to turn down the contrast on my computer

I note that the site format has changed since earlier this morning. I think that it will take some time for me to get used to this new format. Can't yet say that it is an improvement!

The 'alien' avatars made me chuckle. It does take a while to get used to site changes, but I do prefer the general look so far.

I also think the colour is a bit much so will monitor for a couple of days before I think about experimenting to find something a little more easy on the eye.

I changed the background colour ( in my settings) a long time ago because I couldnt cope with the world looking pink after staring at the green for a while and the upgrade has kept my preference thank goodness. I get a white background with a blue stripe.

Thanks Londoner - I had forgotten that the background could be set by each individual to suit themselves.
Mary - follow Londoner's instructions on the background and then if you have other queries or concerns go to the Announcements Thread about the Upgrade and you will see an offer of help from the M&SFHF who made the change quite some time ago. I am not up with everything yet so I think the offer of assistance is excellent.

I'm having a problem trying to send personal messages since the change. I'v sent you a few 'test messages' CT but they don't seem to be landing in your letter box. I must be doing something wrong but will work it out. Roy ... from Down Under.

I'm not sure what's happening Roy. Yesterday when I checked in I found that all the text formatting options have disappeared!
I have sent a PM to M&SFHF to see if I can found out something but after your last comment I don't know if that has got through either.

As per @$&%^ usual these people give you no way to 'contact' them except via help forums where you view questions or comments made by others!
I just want to ask what the blighters have done in the last day or so that has caused these current problems!!!
Hopefully I will get an answer back from our northern friends otherwise it looks like I will have to try and find a couple of weeks spare time to read through everything and try to sort it out myself.
I believe that when a company places a CONTACT US link on their site you should be able to do just that ..... CONTACT THEM!!!!

Well - it looks now like we are on our own! :-( If what Roy says is correct about not being able to send PMs then I have a big problem to sort out. M&SFHF does not appear to be a member so I have no contact details which means that I am unable to try and get in contact via email.

Roy - could you send me some details of the specifics please. Are you getting any error messages or anything to indicate what the problem might be? I will pass any information on to the Support forum to see if we can resolve it.
