I have him buried at Lelant in 1886.
The 1907 burial would be John, the son of John Glasson and Ann nee Penberthy.

Hmm - dilemma solved I think. The John Glasson buried at St Erth in 1907 was also born at St Erth about 1836/7 but he married Emma Tresize. In 1891 he was still at St Erth with son William John Tresize Glasson. Guess I had better make a couple of corrections! CT

I do not think so - the 1907 death was for an unmarried John.
Emma Tresize's husband died in 1901 -

Okay - so that makes him the man who married Emma Trezise. Next question - what happened to the son of John Glasson and Alice Isbell who was also baptised in 1836? I had not worked out which of the two married Emma. CT

Bugger! In 1901 John Glasson and son William J T Glasson were at New Row, St Erth. A couple of months later John was apparently living at Trebartha Place when he died. In 1907 another John Glasson died but you say that he was not married. Both were born about 1836 with the two possible sets of parents being John Glasson/Ann Penberthy and John Glasson/Alice Isbell. John Glasson and Emma Trezise were married in 1866. In 1861 both families were at St Erth and each had their son John at home. And from here it seems to go downhill! 1871 Census By this time both John and Alice are dead and at the moment I cannot find son John. Emma Glasson (nee Trezise) is with her father but there appears to be no sign of her husband John either! John and Ann are now at Treloweth but their ages have gone from 54 and 47 (1861) to 60 and 54 (1871). 1881 Census John and Emma are now living at Trebartha Place. John of Treloweth is now dead but widow Ann is still living at Treloweth with son George and grandaughter Caroline Treloar. Up to now there has been no sign of the other John since 1861. But the 1891 Census might just solve the problem! 1891 Census John and Emma are still at Trebartha Place Widowed Ann Glasson is now living at Lane and with her are three children - Thomas age 36, Mary Louisa age 35 and John age 55! That means that you are correct and that it must have been the son of John and Ann who died unmarried in 1907. Therefore it would appear logical that it was the son of John and Alice who married Emma Trezise. CT

I don't know whether you have identified the John Glasson who married Ann Penberthy yet but I am going to suggest that he was most likely the son of John and Philippa (nee Trevean).
In 1851 and 1861 his age suggests a birth around 1806 and his birthplace is consistently recorded as St Erth. John son of John and Philippa was baptised at Crowan in 1806 but there is nothing in the PR to say whether or not he was born there. When John and Philippa married John was 'of St Erth' and their first son was baptised there.
John and Ann also named a daughter Philippa Susan.
