Welcome aboard Pendrea. A fine choice of names there I see with more than one four of them belonging to quite well-to-do families - Bolitho, Paynter, Praed and Borlase. If not already done then please add some queries in the relevant sections here and let's see if we can find some answers. I have done some work on the Paynter family in the past so will be most interested in discussions with you. CT

I have a bit of information on a couple of the names: My g-g-g-g grandfather, James Bolitho B: 1702/ D: 1755 son Walter B: 1753/ D: 1806 daughter Mary Ann B: 1798 Pen, Cornwall (married my g-g- grandfather John Angwin in 1820 I also have information on the Jelbert/Gelbert family, however they were related through marriage via the Eddy's, and I must look it up. It is possible my g-g grandfather Uter Furze was married to Mary Tonkin but I am trying to work out some discrepancies in the dates.

Hi Cousin Jack and welcome. You will certainly get a 'bite' when a certain party sees the reference to UTER FURZE and MARY TONKIN! Look forward to a few discussions with you. CT

Welcome 'Cousin Jack', I have a very strong feeling that we already know each other. If not I might be able to contribute to the Furze saga and your difficulties with dates.
