Let's re analyse some of the info
Margaret (Pollard) Gilbert born 1821, married 1839 Paul.
I have a possible Thomas Jelbard born 1794 St Levan
And a Thomas Jelbard/Gilbert who dies in in Paul 1832
This would make him 38 at death... possible but odd, the cholera epidemic was around the 1840's wasn't it? However if we look at the marriage entry
13-Oct 1839
Thomas Ellis VINGOE
OF AGE
FISHERMAN
PAUL
HENRY VINGOE
FISHERMAN
Margaret Pollard GILBERT
OF AGE
SERVANT
PAUL
THOMAS GILBERT
FISHERMAN
BANNS
HENRY VINGOE
WILLIAM POLLARD
There is no Gilbert, i.e. no father on the record... had he died already? Would that tie in at least with the death record we have?
I then have as a father (hypothetical) William Jelbard son of Thomas Jelbard born 1766 in St Just in Penwith married to Grace Thomas (?) born 1754? St Ives, Grace Thomas may have been the daughter of Thomas Thomas (great name eh ) and Grace Davis.
It would help if I had some siblings for Margaret Pollard Gilbert but I can't even find her record of birth, just the banns!!!
__________
As far as the Vingoe line are concerned, I have a Margaret Gilbert Vingoe born and died in 1851, the poor chlid of Thomas Ellis Vingoe and his poor wife who also died as a result of the childbirth.
Some infor from the Vingoe's

On the 16th August 1842 their second child, a boy was born and named Thomas Ellis after his father. The couple had two more children William Henry born 29th March 1846 and Elizabeth Gilbert born in 1848, when in September 1851 tragedy struck the family. Margaret died in childbirth with the new born baby girl. The child was hastily christened Margaret Gilbert Vingoe after her mother and she died 12 September.
