The immediate answer is - no.
But if you can supply a little more detail about the family I may be able to track something down.
If you can give me more detail on the children I will try and trace the family through Census and whatever other records I can get a look at.
Hmmm - just had a quick look at my Sennen information and it seems that Nicholas Wallis Bone must have been the second of that name in the family.
He would be the one baptised 18th September 1846.
There was another of the same name baptised at Sennen 24th April 1837.
There are other children recorded and in each case the father, Richard, is named as 'blacksmith'.
1851 Census lists Elizabeth and her sons Richard, Benjamin and Nicholas W Bone living with her parents Thomas and Elizabeth Trudgen at Escalls, Sennen.
At this time Elizabeth was a widow.
A check of Sennen burials provides the following:-
18 Sep 1846 BONE Richard 37 yrs. Sennen
This places Richard's birth at 'about' 1809 but his baptism is not (according to the transcript) recorded at Sennen.
- I have just found something in my database that may be of interest.
16th September 1810 Richard s/o Benjamin and Mary (nee Giles) BONE was baptised.
Richard had a son named Benjamin so it is quite possible this is who you are looking for.
Given the possibility that this is your man:-
Benjamin Bone, of Morvah, married Mary Giles, of Sancreed, at Morvah 1st June 1788
They had 9 children that I am aware of and Richard (1810) was the last.
Although I have not yet traced Benjamin back any further I think it is a fair possibility that he was the father of your Richard.
Hoping this helps - Ian
