Ellinor Cheffor married William Richards in St Keverne 6.6.1661.
A good site for St Keverne is 'St Keverne Parish records Index'

The first of that name I can find baptised at St Keverne is Alexander s/o Richard Cheffor 24th November 1632. From then up until 1661 I counted 19 baptisms. I think in just about all of these the father was Richard (one entry for a child of Richard Cheffor, gent.) but the mothers sometimes differ. I know there was Elizabeth and Petronell involved - both wives of a Richard. But no Ellinor. I also had a look at the 1661 marriage and it is interesting to note that the next marriage, two weeks later on the 20th of June, was between Richard RICHARDS and Ann CHEFFOR. Coincidence or were they perhaps siblings? I am sure I did see a aptism for an Ann so that might be worth pursuing. Other than that I think it may be a case of checking other Parishes, particular the surrounding ones. At least some of them have some reasonable coverage in Online Parish Records. CT

Also try this link, which is on the St Keverne Parish website that Newlyn recommended: www.st-keverne.com/History/family/cheffers-gen.htmlIt gives the Cheffers born, baptised and married in St Keverne. There are a couple of Elinor Cheffers, but not the one you are looking for, so it would appear that yours was baptised elsewhere. Will have a look at the surrounding parishes if I have time later, as CT suggested. This birth on the St Keverne website is quite interesting: Birth - Female - Elinor CHEVERS, born abt. 1584 in Macetown, Meath, Ireland There are a few births of Cheffers in Ireland listed on the site. There are also some notes on the history of the Cheffer family at: www.st-keverne.com/History/family/cheffers.html

There is a burial listed at St Keverne of an Ellinor Cheffer, buried on 15 November 1668, ux (wife) of Robert. I wonder if she could have been your Ellinor's mother Am unable to find a marriage of a Robert Cheffer and an Ellinor at present.

I dunno!!! Scratching my head again.... CT's point is good and I also noticed it. What is interesting is that we have Anne Cheffor marrying Richard Richards and Elinor Cheffor marrying William Richards in St Keverne in the same year, close together. Could two brothers have married two sisters perhaps?

Possible parents of William and Richard Richards are Richard Richards and Jane Thomas married in St Keverne 12.11.1633.
