- I don't have an Elizabeth as d/o John Quick and Jane (Barnecoate) but that does not necessarily mean there was not one.
As far as I know the Elizabeth who married William Williams Quick was bp. 19th January 1800 d/o Richard Quick and Elizabeth (nee Daniell).
William Williams Quick was buried at St Ives 4th March 1824 and had only three daughters:-
Christian bp. 22nd August 1819 St Ives
Elizabeth bp. 15th June 1821 St Ives m. Richard Cocking NINNIS 21st March 1841 St Ives
Jane bp. 3rd July 1823, died 4th July 1823 and buried 6th July 1823 St Ives
Now - William Quick m. Margaret Polmear.
I was working on that one a few months ago and am yet to figure out just where he belongs.
The marriage occurred at Towednack but the four children I have listed so far were all baptised at St Ives.
William was an inn-keeper, at least for a while, at St Ives and is recorded as such at the baptism of some of his children.
I don't know when William died but Margaret was certainly either deceased or widowed and remarried by 1841 as I cannot find her in the Census.
The only Margaret I can find in 1841 who might possibly have been her was the wife of Edward Quick at Paul.
I have several William Quicks who could have been this bloke but I don't have enough information at the moment to positively identify him.
It looks like Margaret Polmear might be one of only two possibilities that I can find at the moment.
14th November 1784 Towednack - Margaret d/o David and Maria (Allen) Polmear
29th November 1795 Zennor - Margaret d/o William and Anne (Osborn) Polmear
The second looks the more likely with the Osborn name involved but that might equally have come from the Quick side.
Just do not have enough of the right information to work from I am afraid.
