After reading through some of the other Davis/Davies post, I just wanted to make sure that I'm possibly gathering the information correctly in going back thru the ages:
Starting with the first entry that I have in my Davis line:
Robert Davy b. Ludgvan Cornwall England Married on October 19, 1708 Paul Cornwall England Joan Marrack b. ? d.?
With the info I gathered from other post:
They had Robert Davy being b. 1663 (bp March 3, 1663) and d. 1738 first being married on February 16, 1685 to Anne Kitt, and then 2nd being married to the above Joan Marrack?
Next I gathered that Robert Davy was the son of Edmund Davy who was b. abt. 1625 (bp sept. 26, 1625) and a Joan Blake. and that Edmund Davy and Joan Blake were married on September 28, 1649 at St. Breage, Cornwall England.
Next I gathered that Edmund Davy was the son of Nyclis (Nycholas) Davy b. 1581 Ludgvan (bp February 10, 1581) and is the son of Edmond Davie.
Next I gathered that Nyclis or Nycholas Davy or Davie was married on June 21, 1624 Ludgvan, Cornwall England to Catherine Barne.
And next I gathered that Nyclis or Nycholas Davie's father Edmond was b. abt. 1554 St. Erth. who was also the son of Edmond Davie/Davy.
I just wanted to make sure that I'm gathering this information accurate before I enter it into my family tree charts.
Thanks Amy Vander Kelen

Hello again Amy, I'm not familiar with this family so I cannot answer your question directly. However you could try Bill Curnow who is the on-line parish clerk for Ludgvan and he may be able to assist . You can find his email address on the Cornwall online parish clerk website.
hope this helps
