Hello, kelly2.
I have some interest in the UREN name that you mention. I shall "throw" some info. at you...which may be of no interest whatsoever!
Grace Uren born 1734 (?), died 26 Apr.1816, Towednack, married 2 Apr. 1761 Richard Martin of Towednack (1734-1800). Grace`s father: poss. George, died 1736.Three other children, poss.:Mary, John and Thomas..
Grace and Richard had 7 children. Details available.
Bolitho: my late father knew the Cornish family. Several of his relatives were employed by the Bolithos over many years, in Dorset and in west Cornwall. Some more info. available. I MAY be related to one of them.

Hi again I too have Uren connections, although it has been difficult to get back further on this line. Have got back to John Uren who married Elizabeth May in 1804 in Ludgvan. Their son Samuel Uren married Catherine Berriman in 1838. My line then carries on through their daughter Mary Uren who married Peter Husband Toman in St Ives in 1884. I also have connections to the Treviler family of Ludgvan/Gulval areas going back to Richardi (Richard) Treviler who married Tamsina Genver on 18 July 1613 in Gulval. Just thought I'd throw those names in in case they mean anything to you

Welcome Dorothy. Always good to see new people join us and seems quite a few of us have that Uren name floating about. My connection is through Tobias Uren who married Ann Trewhella at Lelant in 1855. Cornish Terrier
