Hi Everyone,
Our mate, Cornish Terrier, is alive and well, thank goodness. I have just 'phoned him and it appears that he is still having connection problems regarding the internet. It's quite complicated and I'm sure he will explain it once he's back online. He doesn't know when it will be sorted, either. Let's hope it is sooner rather than later.
As you can all imagine, he's terribly frustrated! At least we know he's well.
Hope everyone else is well too.
Regards, CP

Like many others I have also missed his input.
Glad to hear that it is only his dodgy internet connection that is keeping him from us, rather than anything more serious.
Based on past input and interest on this board, I guess that 'frustrated' is probably an inadequate description of how he is actually feeling!

Thanks cornishpasty - we were all concerned and a phone call is much easier for you than us UK based folk. If you're speaking to him again pass on our best wishes. We had short term connection problems here last week, a JCB cut through the cable and it was indeed frustrating.

Thanks from me too cornishpasty ....Glad all is ok with him except for the frustration of no connection. Just imagine what it was like 100yrs ago when only part of a family emigrated from Cornwall to Oz. No news for months and everyone wondering if everyone were still in good health. Thanks again cornishpasty for that really good and tasty (sorry!) ;D news. Tony M

Hi Everyone and thanks for your messages of support for our Cornish Terrier. I have passed these on to him and he said "thanks very much". CT called last night and said that he is still having major problems. Looks like his PC has just about given up the ghost (to put it nicely . He will need a new motherboard and another hard drive etc., and is trying to sort out a connection through a satellite program but, until he can find the problem with his PC and the hard drives, nothing will be happening overnight. CT was explaining all the technological problems but it's it's all too mind boggling for me (I am still trying to learn how to use my mobile phone ;D ;D : . Most of you will know that he has also had a number of house moves recently, the last one being November 2007. He now has 2 months to find another place. To say that he is frustrated is, indeed, an understatement!!! He has asked me to let you all know that if there are any urgent queries, he will try to deal with these offline, so if you could liaise with me, I will read them to him on the phone and he can reply to you, through me. I will then be able to "post" the replies on this Message Board. Please PM me and tell me which query you want sorted - just the subject matter will be a great help then I will know where to find it on the Board. He misses this Group very much and is equally frustrated because he can't do anything to help with the queries. He will go "stir crazy" if he's not kept busy, so please sing out if you need his (wonderful and expert) help. He also asked me to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to anyone who has had a birthday and a BIG WELCOME to all the newbies. He can't wait to get back to the Group. Regards CP
