Looking to connect with any Nicholas family members from Sancreed, St Buryan or other areas of Cornwall to connect with my Nicholas family in the USA. I am willing to share the cost of DNA testing to determine if our Nicholas family are related.

Hi Robert - I have a few Nicholas connections but in a long and roundabout way.
Richard Nicholas bp. 1847 at Sennen s/o Matthew and Margaret Grenfell Nicholas married Nanny Trewhella at Sennen in 1869.
Nanny was a grandaughter of my 4xgt-grandfather.
There are other remote connections through different parts of my extended family but the above will suffice as a start.
I am yet to determine the parents of the Matthew Nicholas mentioned above but he married Margaret Grenfell Roberts at Sennen 26th July 1823.
Would be interested if you are connected here and if you have identified Matthew's parents.
