Hello all,
I am descended from an Elleanor Glasson, christened 26 December 1824 in East Newlyn, daughter of William Glasson and Ann. A likely marriage for William and Ann is: William Glasson m. Ann Rowe 11 April 1822, Cubert.
Their other children were William Henry, chr. 25 Nov 1822 Elizabeth 1829 Jane 1839 Fanny 1835 Richard 1834 Mary Ann 1828 Lystra 1832
Elleanor married an Abraham Parkyn/Perkin/Parkin on 30 April 1853 in Newyln, and one of their daughters Jane Ann emigrated to Australia in 1876.
Hoping to make contact with anyone that fits into this family!
Cheers, Mike.

Mike - I have given a brief answer in the 'Queries' section but we should probably continue discussion here as soon as I get the opportunity.
Hopefully there will be others who can lend a hand also.

Hi Ian,
thanks for the fast response and the offer of help!
I should have explained that I'm pretty much ok with Jane Ann Perkin (daugher of Elleanor Glasson) onwards. Jane Ann married Richard Smith in Penponds on 1st August 1871, and they emigrated out to Adelaide, Australia on the "Forfarshire" on 10th June 1876.
Back to the Glassons, I have Elleanor Glasson chr. 26 Dec 1824 in Newlyn East. She married Abraham Parkyn/Perkin on 30 April 1853, and I've followed them through on the 1851, 1861, 1871 and 1881 censuses (Elleanor is possibly on the 1891 as well, but I can't really be sure it's the right one). I'm looking to flesh out Elleanor early life, and just this past weekend found all those siblings of her listed in the IGI.
Thanks again, Mike.

Welcome Mike.
I do not like to rely on IGI so let's try to get more information from original PRs or from reliable Transcripts of them before we get carried away.
Have had a quick check of the Online Parish Clerk site but need to delve further to see what I can find.
If I get the chance in the next day or so I, too, will check the Census records and see if there is anything that I can see that might be of more help.
