I see that someone has the parents of Thomas Ellis who married Clarinda Richards at Sancreed in 1690 as a Thomas senior who married a Grace Hockyn in 1640, their son Thomas being christened in 1655.
They also had other children named Dorothy, Robert and "Catren" , which is interesting as Thomas and Clarinda also had the first two of these three names amongst the names of their own children.
Do other posters agree/disagree with this parentage for Thomas, and does anyone have the line further back at all?

I have done no work at all on this particular line so far so am at a bit of a loss. However, I can say that in the 1690 marriage the name was ELIES and in 1640 it was ELYES. This information from the Sancreed Marriage Transcripts. Another problem I shall try to pursue as I can but I must say I may be a little limited for a while given my impending move of home. Will have to set everything up again, of course, and ensure my Internet Connection is up and running. Please forgive me if this one stays on the 'backburner' for a while but keep reminding me and I will look into it as I can.
