Hi, Please call me Anne. I am really knew to this fabulous hunt for ancestors and accept I have very much to learn! I am an Australian of about 7 or 8 generations and so far haven't located too much data on the origins of the earliest of the family who landed here. My first real query lands me in Sithey, Cornwall so I'm here to ask whether this network is an appropriate one for that location, or whether you have other sites to recommend,
Many many thanks

Hi Anne, Please stick with us here and we will do our very best to help you. If required, and we need further assistance, we will try to advise you of other places to get help.
In the meantime just stick with us and I am sure you will find people to assist.
I am on limited time at the moment because my connection keeps dropping out but will do my best for you once things are stabilised.

Hello Anne: Here's a Goldsworthy/Sithney reference, albeit modern era, that may be of interest later as you build your family tree. 1. EDWARD PASSMORE NEWTON was born 7 May 1893 in Hayle Cornwall. He married LOVEDAY ANN GOLDSWORTHY 28 March 1925 in Sithney, Cornwall, England, daughter of CHARLES GOLDWORTHY. She was born Abt. 1893. Marriage witnesses: George H. Newton and John Goldsworthy

Hi Anne, I am back after a long absence due to technical difficulties and it may be that I have to 'disappear' again for a brief time. However, I expect you have found some help in my absence and expect to find some of your queries in other parts of the Board. I will answer as best I can when I get to them but, if you are yet to really get going, please do so or send me a PM or email and I will do my best for you.
Ian
