For whatever reason I can't access the 1901 online index.
Would someone please look-up Hannibal Curnow Taylor and his wife Elizabeth Ann in the 1901 census please.
Elizabeth was born in Illogan and her maiden name was Osborne and she was born abt 1863.
They married in the March qtr 1894 Redruth district.

Hello Genie - you lucky lady you. Was just doing a brief check for anything new before heading off to bed and found your 'desperate plea'. Think I have found what you want. 1901 Census Redruth North Country H C Taylor, head, marr, 41, Insurence Agent, worker, Redruth Eliza A Taylor, wife, marr, 35, Redruth Trevar Taylor, son, 10, Redruth Aliza Annie Taylor, daur, 5, Redruth Gladys Mary Taylor, daur, 3, Redruth John Taylor, brother, single, 50, tin dresser, Redruth Annie Curnow Taylor, sister, single, 27, house duties, Redruth Hope this helps. ;D I actually found it pretty quickly. First tried a search on Hannibal Curnow Taylor and got nothing of help. Then tried Hannibal Taylor with the same result. Thought I would give Elizabeth A Taylor bn 1863 a try and the third entry on the first page showed Eliza A Taylor born about 1866 with husband H C Taylor. Had a look at that and - appears to be Bingo! ;D Will try and send you an image of this via normal email. But please tell me more about this family as Curnow is another thread of interest for which we have a 'little' start.

Thanks for that information.
I don't know anything about the Hannibal Curnow Taylor family.
What I do know is a Sydney Osborne, his wife and mother emigrated to the US and the next of kin was Mrs. Taylor of North Country who was a sister to Sydney's mother.
I had the following information sent to me some time ago before I actually knew that they were related to my Osborne's.
Elizabeth Ann Taylor died in 1935 age 72, Hannibal Taylor died in 1938 age 77 and Annie Taylor died in 1959 age 89.

If you can give me any further detail on this Taylor side it would be most welcome. (Including the Osborne part as the 'next of kin') Have also checked the Census back to 1861 when Hannibal was about 1 month old and found something interesting that might be useful later. The family was still at Redruth but the key point is:- John Taylor was born at LUDGVAN Margaret Taylor was born at TOWEDNACK One of these two has the CURNOW connection. AND, with any luck, this might help us solve a bit more of your OSBORNE puzzle. (Or at least I hope it will.)

Hi
May I?
I think you'll find John Taylor married Margaret Harris 1851 per OPC; John Taylor's parents were Richard Taylor & Ann Curnow who married 1809 Ludgvan – Ann Curnow being 1788 Ludgvan last daughter Of Hannibal Curnow born 1743 Towednack.
If that's of interest.
