Good morning
I was wondering if anybody had Elizabeth Warren Quick in their family.
She married James Baragwanath in 1865 and in the 1871 census is said to be born around 1839 at Madron. She is likely to be the Elizabeth Quick in the 1861 census as a servant to Henry Giles but before that she does not seem to be listed.
Perhaps she was actually not born a Quick, perhaps she was the illegitimate Elizabeth Warren born in 1838...
Can anyone help?

As far as I could work out this Elizabeth was probably the daughter of John Quick and Ann Roberts who married at Madron in 1837. My difficulty now is that I have just checked the GRO Index to find that this Elizabeth was actually registered as Elizabeth Ann Potter Quick in March 1839.
I have no idea at this stage where the Warren name comes into proceedings and nor do I have any idea about the use of 'Ann Potter' in her name.

Good evening and thank you
Ann Roberts was the daughter of Joseph Roberts and also had a brother Joseph Roberts. The brother married Ann Potter in 1825 so that is the most likely source.
Elizabeth Ann Potter Quick does not appear to have married and in 1891 is in Leicester and is listed as being single, the wife's sister..
In 1861 Elizabeth (Warren) Quick is at Regennis at Paul which is very close to where James Baragwanath was at Trevelloe. The name Warren does not appear before this date in my very short studies.

AAH! - after reading your latest I have done some further investigation and, as a consequence, made some corrections to my database. I now know that Kate (Catherine) Quick married George Matthews Denithorne at Leicester in 1879 and that she was the daughter of John Quick and Ann Roberts. Thus you are quite correct and my database now shows these connections to Elizabeth. No, this cannot be Elizabeth Warren Quick. I had narrowed the possibilities down to her as well but if you check FreeBMD you will note that she was registered at birth as 'Elizabeth Wallis Warren' and baptized simply as Elizabeth to Elizabeth Warren, single woman, at Madron in 1838. Elizabeth Wallis Warren died in the September Qtr of 1838. So it is back to square one with Elizabeth Warren Quick I'm afraid. CT
