Although I have been researching my family since 1974, I didn't discover my Cornish roots until 1983, so that is 24 years for me!

I didn't have a computer until 2001. I became interested in family history when my husband mentioned an aunt of his who was a bit of a mystery. I found information about her and then went on to look for my ancestors.

1979 or possible even 1978 for me after my father showed me a postcard with 'The Arms of TREWHELLA'. Decided to see if they might belong to my family and - WELL - look what's happened.

Do you mean SASENACH I prefer to stick with Modern Cornish. To me it seems the only sensible version.

I started July 2006 - accidentally !!! I was new to the computer too and I almost gave up. I was researching for a book I am writing and accidentally came across a Genealogy Group. I was fascinated and you can guess the rest ......... the book is on hold because I am totally addicted to Genealogy now. ;D
