I have always had the Elizabeth Glasson who married Thomas Andrewartha in 1854 as the D/o William Glasson and Elizabeth HILL. I have been informed by the Andrewartha researchers that she was the d/o Wiliam and Elizabeth Ann CURGENVEN. I can't find any birth in Ludgvan for William even using the IGI batch number sites. Ludgvan being his stated place of birth according to the census' I can find nothing on opc site or igi for any marriages but I Have found them on the 1841 census in

Thanks, after much more research I have found in the census' that her father was a blacksmith, and the other William/HILL was a tailor.
not helpful when the Lelant baptisms have a gap from 1799 to 1805. were these his parents? 5. William Glasson (i) chr. 8 Sep 1771, Lelant d. at Towednack (j) bur. 21 May 1851, Lelant m. 29 Dec 1798, Ludgvan, Ann Glasson (k) (issue)
I have found 3 chn for them but not a william.
Is the Glasson page on the Cornwall Genealogy database yours? Di

Yes I believe you have the correct parents.
The database is not mine. I do not publish my database as I then lose control of it and cannot remedy any errors I have in it.

It seems that these years have, for some unknown reason, not yet been transcribed for the OPC site. But that does NOT mean that they are not available! Have you tried FamilySearch?? - if you use 'Uny Lelant' as the birthplace and 1799-1805 as the date range you will find the Lelant baptisms are there. Also the CFHS have Lelant Baptisms 1716-1840 available as a PDF which you can purchase online and download once payment is received. And then you could always use the Cornwall Parish Registers collection on FamilySearch to view images of the ORIGINAL registers!! CT
