In 2012 you were discussing the Edward John and Agnes Smith Young marriage in 1883, with chn born in SA and NSW. What happened to this family, I can't find anything on NSW BDM,s for them after the death of Agnes in 1917 in Broken Hill? Di

Di - the probable reason for that, especially with births and marriages, is that the various State Governments have limits on what information is released. Just as the UK Government will not released Census Records less than 100 years old the BDMs have similar restrictions. I am not sure what those limits are in all the States but it will be something like 100 years for births (i.e. nothing after 1914 might be available), perhaps 50 or 80 years for Marriages and maybe 50 years for deaths. But, as I said, each State will be different.
You could try Cemetery records such as 'Australian Cemeteries Index'.

Of the ten children nine were married in Australia. All nine marriages occurred in New South Wales between 1907 and 1923.
The tenth child, James Henry Glasson who was born in 1886 died in 1898 by drowning:

Thanks, I was trying this morning on the NSW bdm site, looks like it was down, I found a few marriages this evening, so the site is back up. Only 1 marriage I can't find and that is of Thomas J born 1900. As nsw marriages indexes go up to 1964, If he married I should be able to find him.

Sorry my mistake. I believe that Thomas James Glasson married Mavis Kathleen Brown in 1923 in Port Adelaide, South Australia. Nine children.

Confirmation of that marriage for you:
29 January 1923 at Methodist Manse, Semaphore (District of Port Adelaide) Groom's father: Edward John Glasson
If I might ask...I've just bumped into Sydney Ashfield Glasson, b abt 1887, d 1943 in SA, m Clytie Hocking in Broken Hill 1913. Cannot find birth or parents.
Has he been mentioned in any of these threads and does he belong to either of you?

Hello Spike I was intrigued when you said you bumped into him.... ? One of 3 children to William Henry Glasson b 1852 Crantock, and Elizabeth Williams nee Davies - their marriage below. This line also traces back to the John Glasson / Dorothy Verrant ancestor. Lannanta

william Henry bapt in Crantock 11 apr 1852 s/o Thomas and Elizabeth. No marriage of Thomas and Elizabeth on OPC site. Closest one is of marriage to an Elizabeth Mitchell at Gwithian in 1852 on the right track? which wld make him the s/o Thomas and Ann Vivian.
I've got this William Henry in my database too, but not connected to parents yet. Sydney Ashfield born 8 dec 1886 Cross Rds, near Moonta.

Thomas Glasson and Elizabeth Kessel - married in 1849 in the St Columb District, Cornwall... making Thomas the son of Thomas Love Glasson and Elizabeth Henwood Carrivick.
Thomas Love Glasson being the son of William Glasson and Lystra Glanville.
This only being my humble opinion :-)

I was suggesting that anybody interested in the descendants of John Glasson and Dorothy Verrant would be interested in this family as they are their descendants.

I don't have any of these in my database. So with a little research. William and Glanville marr 1796 in Cubert groom states of this parish The first chn for them on the opc site are Mary 1811 and Francis Thomas 1815 in St Allen a few possibles for the bapt of this William from the opc site,
1739 Camborne William GLASSON William 1753 Ludgvan William GLASSEN William 1753 Budock William GLAZON William Hannah 1755 Crowan William GLAZEN Robert Susannah Mitchell? 1760 Paul William GLASSON George Eleanour ' 1761 Paul William GLASSON John Jane 1765 Crowan William GLAZEN John Anne Perkin? married 1735 so not birth 30 yrs later not logical 1775 Crowan William GLASSON Robert Elenor don't have a robert and eleanor -assuming Eleanor Thomas married 1770 1777 Hilary, St. William GLASSON Stephen Alice
The Robert and Susannah Mitchell; William 1755 I have him marrying Mary Wilson in 1781. nothing on the IGI that I can see. So I need to find out who was the William who married Glanville? Thanks Di

William Glasson, baptised 26th November 1775 at Crowan, son of Robert Glasson and Eleanor Thomas.
This Robert Glasson was baptised on the 15th October 1749 at Crowan, son of Robert Glasson and Susanna Mitchell...
Once again in my humble opinion. You may well see it differently.

I bow to your superior and more experienced knowledge of the Glassons, and I value your opinion. I wonder just how many more hidden relations from John and Verrant that I have yet to find. Di
