Hi
My name is Allen Glasson and I am from Ashburton in New Zealand. While my predominant interest is in the GLASSON family from Lelant. Ludgvan and Madron I have been trying very hard lately to understand how the QUICK family knits together.
I look forward to talking to you all over the next while.
Kind regards
Allen

Hello Allen, and a big welcome I think one of my ancestors, Mary Craze, married a Glasson and emigrated. My cousin is doing that side of the tree so will get some information off her if it may be useful. Qucks? Quicks in most of our trees I suspect. Lots of very experienced and helpful people on here, so post away and hopefully we should all be able to help each other. Have fun ;D

Oops, that should have been Sarah Craze not Mary Craze , who then became Sarah Glasson

Hi Cornishmaid
Yes I have Sarah and Josiah Glasson. I think that Sarah wrote of her emigration experiences if I remember correctly and that information is available on the BBC website and stored at St Ives

G'day Allen from good old Oz. Welcome and I will also try to help as best I can. But:- GOOD LUCK! ;D Although not doing much on the Quicks recently I have done a lot of work on them over the years and ............... But do not be deterred. A bit of additional info here might be handy for me to work from so I hope to see it in one of the relevant threads. I, too, have relatives in 'good old' NZ and also have Quick connections involved so will look forward to anything you have for me to work on. Won't procrastinate right now as I have more queries to check but will no doubt converse with you elsewhere on this site. Cornish Terrier
