Not sure Roy. Was that avatar one of your own or was it one you found in the gallery when you first joined?
If it was something you linked to from outside the forum then you may have to do the same again to get it back. My avatar has remained as it was. See how you go and get back to me and I will see if I can find an easy way to set up a new avatar.

Hi Roy,
This site also lets you upload one of your own photos instead of an avatar if you would so prefer. Although I used to have an avatar from the selection on this site, it did not appear after the site format changed earlier this week. Therefore, I had to start all over again and chose to use a photo instead as it was an option this time. I went into AVATAR in my Profile and chose the 'Use only the Uploaded/Linked' option to upload a photo from photos stored on my PC.

Thanks CT and Mary. The Devil avator was in the gallery when I first joined, and when the format changed it vanished and I turned into a boiled egg. I spent an hour trying to find this avator again but it appears to have been removed from the gallery. If your unable to locate it again CT I will take Mary's advice. It's a large bottle of Cornish Scrumpy actually, Roy. The photo was taken at Healey's Cyder Farm at Penhallow near Perranzabuloe (in the Perranporth/Truro area). Cornish Rattler, which is also one of my favourite tipples, is also made there!

It appears that Proboards preserved only three formerly-used standard avatars for us: CT's terrier, the little girl waving the bouquet of flowers and the ball of yarn. It's time to start fresh if you aren't using an image uploaded from a photo image storing website. The good news is that you can upload a photo from your own computer now. There is also a lot of free clip art available.
The image size appears to be larger also. I think we get 150 x 150 pixels or piskies or whatever vs. 100 x 100,

Some bad news for anyone wishing to view the Queensland BDM Indexes.
These were free to view online, but it appears as of yesterday these indexes are
no longer free and you have to pay to view.
Just wanted to let people know.
