Hi Mike - yes, Gwithian was the main seat but there were 'parcels' in a number of Parishes. These include Amalebra, Chylason and Nancledra in Towednack which might help explain some of the Towednack-Gwithian connections found in the PRs.

Thank you Ian. I'm looking at the movement of people, why they ended up in certain parishes. Manorial movements certainly hold a key to understanding some of our families. And yes, from what I have seen Connerton, like many manors, is lots of parcels of land spread around Penwith or even further. Enys Pendeen in St Just parish is one part, as are tracts of land in Phillack, Gwithian, Towednack, and elsewhere. Cheers Mike
