Nicholas Wallis born about 1834 St Ives son of John Williams Wallis and Joanna Thomas. Nicholas Wallis married Selina Beare in Madron on 6 Oct 1861 Nicholas is in the 1871 Census occupation Shipwright living at 18 Daniel Place, Penzance Youngest child to the couple is born about 1879 so Nicholas was possibly still around then. Nicholas Wallis is not in the 1881 census with his family who are still at Daniel Place. Selina is listed as married wife of shipwright. In the 1891 Census the family is living in 25 Belgravia Street but Nicholas is still missing. Selina is listed as married. Selina dies in 18961901 Census family minus father Nicholas & Mother Selina are living with grandmother Martha Beare (Martha was born abt 1815) I can find a death in 1915 for a Nicholas Wallis registered in Penzance died aged 81 - no occupation given - the age fits so it is possibly the right Nicholas Where has Nicholas been living from 1879 to possibly 1915?Its a mystery Sarch

thanks for the help Londoner I must admit I gave up looking for him after I found the family in 1901 and he wasn't there. I just had a thought today and did a wider date search on burials and a Nicholas appeared but I could not be sure it was the right person - thanks again. Sarch
