CT et al
I am looking for a family that probably emigrated from Cornwall after the middle of 1885 and probably before 1891 census.
He was 25 year old George Henry Williams WILLEY and he married 28 year old Annie GLASSON in April 1885 at Gwithian. Given that her father was John GLASSON, and that he was deceased by this time, and given that Annie was living in Coonor Downs, I am assuming that Annie is in fact Harriet Ann GLASSON, born around 1858 at Gwinear, daughter of John GLASSON and Christian ROWE.
I have looked in the succeeding census but I cannot find them - but that does not mean that they are not there. However if I am correct they are overseas somewhere.

Lannanta - did Annie have a sister named Susan? One of the witnesses was Susan Glasson.
Harriet Anne daughter of John (miner) and Christian Glasson of Trenawin was baptised 11th July 1858 at Gwinear
I see that there was a younger sister Susan born about 1865 at Gwinear and she married James Henry Bennetts in the September Qtr 1889. I cannot find this marriage among my records but they were living at Camborne in 1891. I was hoping to find that marriage record so that I could compare Susan's signiature with that of the Susan Glasson who witnessed the earlier marriage of Annie.
Annie's husband was born George Henry Williams Willey at Crowan in 1857 but I cannot find him in 1881.
No luck finding them in South Australia, Victoria or NSW and no sign of them in the US in 1900.
But there was a child born in Cornwall:-
Mary Eveline daughter of George Henry (miner) and Annie Willey of Connor Downs baptised 4th March 1886 at Gwithian (born 7th December 1885)

Yes I was interested to know if she carried on with Annie or perhaps reverted to Harriet Ann - and yes it was most likely her sister Susan as a witness at her wedding - I also have the FreeBMD reference to Susan's wedding.
I see a shipping note for the ship "City of Rome" on the 19th April 1890 - two passengers bound for New York, 31 year old Annie Willey and her 4 year old daughter May C (but when you look at the image the C is more like an E).
I am happy enough to leave this family now where it lies although as you say, they do not appear in USA census - so maybe they moved further afield.

Lannanta - I have now also now had a look at the Canadian Census for 1890 and 1900 and US for 1910 but still no sign of them. Always possible that Annie was widowed and remarried but then they may have stayed briefly in the US and headed for South America. It does seem to be the right Glasson family though but it would be nice to get a look at the Marriage record for Susan to compare the signiatures.

Looking at the marriage certificate for Annie that I have it certainly appears as if the complete certificate has been written out by one person.

Lannanta - I considered that possibility which is why I used the phraseology 'Marriage record'.
Can you tell me where the marriage occurred? Was it Registry Office or Non-conformist or would I be lucky enough for it to have been in a Parish that perhaps I have not checked yet??
The original Parish Record is what we need because that is where we would find the original signiatures.

Whoops! I think we messed that one up Ollie! The Marriage I was referring to for comparison of signiatures was that of Susan Glasson to James Henry Bennetts. If I could find that one in the Parish Records then I could compare Susan's signiature to that of the Witness to Annie's marriage. I actually have a copy of Annie's marriage at Gwithian. CT

Silly me - must be the cheap rum ;D
Unfortunately I worked that marriage out from the FreeBMD so I have no idea where it was held.

Never mind mate - what colour are the elephants today? ;D I am beginning to suspect the marriage may have been Registry Office. I think the only options I have left otherwise are Gwennap or St Day as I don't have any records for those Parishes in the Redruth R.D. CT
