just curious, a thought that just occured to me as i'm looking at census and trying to put a-z together. Is there anyway to find out exactly where my ancestors lived besides Ludgvan? i'm so new to all this and don't know if it's possible but no harm in asking!!!

I presume by 'other than Ludgvan' that you mean an actual place within the Parish? If so then from 1813 onwards you will sometimes find the information in the baptism, marriage and burial registers and from 1841 you will get some idea from the Census records. Unfortunately with John and Emma Williams their residence at the baptisms of some of their children was merely recorded as 'Ludgvan'. However - when son Zacharias was baptised they were living at Crowlas. From memory I think they were also at Crowlas during one or two of the Census years. CT

yes that is what i mean!! i did find that John B Williams and Johanna Campell Williams, Elizabeth and her siblings lived on Bakehouse lane in Marazion. However it doesn't seem the road exists today. From what i see in a census, John B was a carrier and farmer with 5 (or 15 hard to tell with writing) acres, no doubt that has made way to progress. :/ bummer
