Just by way of a change... I noted that there was a marriage between Blanch Glasson and Luke Mitchell in 1858 in Truro - got me thinking about Blanch Curnow who we have discussed before - her second marriage was to Charles Glasson as I remember.
In the 1861 census I saw a 6month old Blanch Mitchell, daughter of Luke and Jane Mitchell - so I had a look - and I am sure that this Blanch is actually 60 years, from Towednack and mother of Luke - would you agree. The family is at Relubbus in St Erth.
If I am correct then I think that hubby is in the Truro workhouse.

And if you are NOT correct? I cannot make out clearly exactly what is written here! Whatever the entry in the 'relation to head' column is meant to be I cannot fathom. It appears to begin with a capital M but that appears to be an alteration. About the only thing clear in that particular entry is the last character being 'r'. Age - well, again there is something written after the 6 that could look like 'months' at a glance but again it has been altered so that nothing is clear. But if you look really closely you might almost make out 'months' overwritten by 'years'. But the word 'poor' entered beside this would seem to indicate an older person. Birthplace of Towednack and possible age of 60 suggests that this might have been Blanch Curnow Renoden whose baptism was recorded as Blanch daughter of Michael and Margaret Curnow although the father was, in fact, Michael Curnow the illegitimate son of Jane Renoden! ;D Luke and wife Jane are:- Lukewarn Mitchell son of Luke Mitchell and Jane WILLIAMS (no father) who married at Truro 28th May 1854 Luke Warne Mitchell was baptised at Cubert 22nd April 1832 son of Luke (a miner) and Elizabeth Mitchell of Perranzabuloe. In the 1861 Census he stated his birthplace as Perranuthnoe and in another I think it was St Erth. Outside of FreeBMD I have not yet been able to find a record of the marriage of Luke Mitchell and Blanch Glasson but it does certainly look possible that you might be right with your identification.
