Since you have known dates of birth, You should be able to order the birth certificates online vis the UK gro (General register officve) website. This will be the cheapest way to get them. They will give you the information you are after.
Then look for a marriage and for mention of the parents in the 1901 UK census.

I would do both -- each may have info that the other does not have. Both will give the parties' ages and then residences, but the marriage cert will also establish the fathers of each of the parties, and the census should give the parties' birthplaces and maybe also the birthplaces and ages of the parents (including the mothers) if these were then still living. Hello Ron, Roy. I'd be interested in the same information as I have direct lines back to the same couple, John Oats and Mary Cock, via their daughter Juliana baptised in 1637, who married Pascoe Grenfell in 1658. Pascoe was the son of Hercules Grenfell and Jane Bosvargus (married 1631). I dont know any more about Hercules and Jane as yet. I also have direct descendancy from the first son Richard Oats, Juliana's brother, baptised in 1630. Richard married Alice Worden in 1655. Best wishes to all, Mike

To all involved in this conversation - a job well done team. Roy, I would also like copies of some of this, if I may, to help flesh out some other work I have been doing over the years. (My email address is in my Member Profile.) I won't add any more here just now as you have all done a wonderful job in my absence. (And I would have needed your assistance anyway. ) Keep up the good work and I will continue checking what I have missed over the last couple of weeks. Ian
