W. H. Rodd respecfully announces that he has received instructions to sell by PUBLIC AUCTION, at Mr. S. Q. Glasson's Smithery Establishment, Market-jew Street, Penzance, on Thursday, the 18th Day of August instant, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, all MR GLASSON'S Stock-in-Trade.
Consisting of - Slabs, Oven, Kitchen Range and Backs; Stove Front; Turnip Cutter on an improved principle; Fire Basket; Toasting Table; Fenders; Gridiron; Foot Scrapers; a quantity of Bar, Sheet and Scrap Iron, and Old Steel.
Also all his Working Tools and Fixtures, Consisting of - One good Smith’s Bellows, One new Anvil, Two Others and Stocks, Binding Plate, Turning Lathe complete; Mandril, Oven-Horse, Bolt-Horse, Boring Machine, Upright Lever for Boring; Two Iron Troughs, Bench and Hand vices, Forge, Crane, Sledges, Hammers, Nail Tools and Tongs, Saw, Dag and Drawing Knife, Two large Braces and Steel Bits, Screw Plates and Taps, Swedges, Files, Tapwrests and Wrenches, an excellent Grind-Stone and Frame, lron, Ladder and various other articles.
The whole of the above will be thus submitted to Public Competition, as Mr. Glasson is about to leave Penzance.
