trencrom, You had posted that you found a Sarah b.19Apr1789, d.1Jul1836 at age 38, I believe in St. Levan. I have looked and looked for this because I was going to order the cert but I can't find it. Can you please "point" me yet again? Thanks Rowen

There won't be a death cert -- civil registration did not start until the following year. Check the burial entries in the PR instead.
She may also have left a will. If she died in St Levan, that means that probate came under authority of the royal peculiar of St Buryan not the Archdeaconry of Cornwall. however these wills are all at the Cornwall Record Office, who have published a list of their holdings including an index organised alphabetically by surname.

Have just done a quick check and this burial event does not appear to be in St Levan, Sennen or St Buryan. I will need to check back through the thread and then re-check my sources as soon as I can.

I have emailed Pat Banks, OPC for St. Levan. She tells me the only clue she has about Sarah Row is that she was baptized in St. Just. I have sent another email to Margaret Owens to ask her to check again for me in St. Just. It seems I have gone full circle and am back looking in St. Just for Sarah's birth and parents. I am also thinking now that Sarah probably is buried in St. Just, if she never married after her "experience".
AND, happy surprise, Pat is an Osborne descendant of John Osborne and Mary Bone, parents of Naboth Osborne and Margaret Hosken, (parents of my #1 candidate William Osborne b.19April1789 for fatherhood of Sarah's child William Osborne Row). She tells me that William Osborne (my #1) died in St. Levan, unmarried. She also tells me that after 20 years of researching Osbornes all the "Naboth's" belong to them. Since my 4X and Mary Eddy had a son Naboth (who d. 1841 St Just) and since Naboth crops up in subsequent generations starting with William Osborne Rowe (b.1832) and Salina Jane Uren's child Naboth, I think I am going with this branch of Osbornes for paternity.....for now.... in St. Levan.
So....ya'll will not be banishing me to Kerrier just yet......... At least not for this bunch... ;D Rowen

Tut, tut - what is this talk of banishment. It is clear that you have connections in West Penwith even though the Osborn(e) family is found elsewhere. It is also clear that the name 'Naboth' was frequently used in the far west of Cornwall. I will have to revisit this as I only have just over a week to move and am, consequently, quite busy. But I will be checking back and will try to work through some more with you as soon as I can. Banishment be damned (I was going to use an Australian quote but thought I had better not.) But - if nobody is looking and I post it 'quietly' - 'banishment be buggered' - Sshhhhhhhh Will do the best I can to look into this as soon as I can but I do have other priorities.
