Hi I'm new to this site, have been researching my husbands and my families for about 15 years, it started as my childrens school project and it still going
On my husbands side we have been researching the Glasson family name and although a little sidetracked at times have got back to 1556 and we're now on our way to Camborne in Cornwall to take a look at where they came from.
Our surname is Cornish, so assume at some point in time, my husbands family came from Cornwall and settled in East Anglia
Nice to meet you all
Anita

Hello Anita- wolcum in chy! ;D
I think you'll be all right with all the Glassons on here!
Re the Cornish family- I have Cornishes from the East of Cornwall and have done a bit of background on the name. It's quite an old surname so to speak. Do you have any information on the East Anglia connection?- i.e. a name and a date for the first known Cornish in the area?
