Hello everyone, I have already posted in a couple of threads, but then I found this section, thought I should introduce myself! My name is Malcolm and I am hoping this forum will help me find my way through some significant brickwalls, with tools, databases etc., and maybe along the way I can help a few people too!! I am specifically here hoping for information pertaining to my Dennis lineage, but am also interested in Jacka, Hollow, Sim, Stone, Trembath, and Williams, and probably many more!! Look forward to having some fun sharing, Malcolm

G'day Malcolm and Welcome. I had a very quick look at your Peter Dennis problem earlier today and notice the first hurdle to overcome is a baptism for him! Will have a hunt around and see what I can find to help. I am sure you will get some takers to discuss some of the names you have listed here so enjoy. CT

Hello Malcolm, I have Dennis history going back from my GGG Grandma Ann DENNIS baptised in Sancreed in 1827. Ann's grandad was George DENNIS, who was baptised 1770 in Sennen. He appears to have had a brother Peter baptised St.Buryan 9th January 1774. George and Peter were the sons of George and Jane (LETHAN) DENNIS. Another sibling was Richard. I know nothing of this Peter than his baptism. Jane LETHAN was a St Just girl. All of these four parishes form a tight knit area in West Penwith and all just a stones throw from each other. Maybe this could be your Peter? I'm sure at some stage we'll hear from Roy who has extensive DENNIS family knowledge? Good luck, Mike
