Hi CT,
Up-date....EDDY, South Africa.
Can't thank you enough for going through your old files and finding a Contact email for the Eddy family, which lead me to my cousin in South Africa ;D
We have been exchanging emails/photographs ever since, and I hope to meet her daughter when she comes to the UK.
I have found some more of my Eddy family from Trewellard in Gilpin, Colorada. Daughter Grace Eddy1859, parents Richard Eddy 1814 and Mary Walls 1820.
I can email the information to you if you haven't already got it.

Hi Poppy - very nice to hear from you with your progress and very glad I have been able to help! I would appreciate the additional information if you don't mind please. I must admit that I have not done much on the family for a couple of months as have been busy transcribing for the OPC site. But I have found a lot more Eddy references and I intend to work through them all to update the work I had commenced. Identifying the correct links of some of the Eddy families back beyond 1820 was proving a challenge but I have already managed to find a couple so there is hope that I will manage more. CT

Hi CT,
Saved you a headache. Found his Naturalisation papers .
Thomas Jacob Eddy from St Just, Cornwall and states his wife as Agnes. In 1900 USA census they have a Boarder William Eddy b1897. This fits nicely with their parents being Richard Eddy 1840 and wife Elizabeth J living at Nanjulian in 1881
