Hi everyone,
Just popped in to say Hi, after finding the site to-night.
My interest is mostly, St Just in Penwith.
I am quite new to this, and so only have a few names of interest:
Thomas, Reynolds, Curtis...and yes the dreaded name of Eddy which is my brick wall.
I am looking forward to reading the Forums, and getting to know you all.
Poppy

Hi Poppy, Try Adrian Eddys web site. He has a host of individuals there and is very willing to help. I think that you will find Cornwall one of the best researched areas of Great Britain. Good luck, Roy

Roy - can you supply a link to Adrian Eddy's site please. It should come in very handy for many of us I would be thinking.

Thankyou my 'new friend'. I also have an Eddy or two connected to my family (Trewhella) so this site may come in very useful. Might take me a while to get to it unfortunately. 'See you' in the other threads.

londoner - the move hasn't actually started yet. I have paid the Bond and the first two weeks rent but still do not have keys to the new place. Also - my current place is just next to the Supermarket and there is massive work going on to extend it. Part of that work includes installing a new power sub-station which is exactly where I used to park my car. Now that part of the lane-way is blocked off and trenches have been dug so that I have 'extremely' limited access. To make things worse, today I found that a length of pipe is laying along that laneway and just outside my back gate so that I cannot open the gate all the way to move stuff out. I am in a residence behind an old shop so even the 'front' entrance is not really an option is it leads straight onto the main street where you can rarely get parking anyway at the time I would need it. And there is also a 'disabled persons parking space' just there as well. Guess I will manage somehow. The reason I was absent for a week this time was due to a telecommunications cable having been cut in another State. Will try and keep you all informed.
