:'(Enoch Tonkin and Anne Stephens were married in Madron, Cornwall, 27 November 1731.
I'm trying to find out the names and birth details of their children. The only possible I can find is Enoch b.1745.
If anyone else has researched this family line they may be able to assist me.
Thank you.
Roy

G'day Roy - can you tell me where you found the 1745 baptism??
I cannot find it in IGI but if you can give me an idea then I may be able to find it in some of my other collections.

Thanks for having a look CT. Enoch's year of birth comes from a small family tree started by a deceased family member some years ago and I have no idea of the source. I have searched all possible records on line and have not been able to find any information on this family, which is a bit strange.
Regards,
Roy ... from Down Under.

Roy - I wonder if that 1745 birth might be an abstract reference to the 1766 marriage with Constance Jelbard. It may be that whoever began that tree did not find a baptism for Enoch and allowed for him being age 21 at marriage - thus producing a birth 'about' 1745. I also wonder now if perhaps there were no children from the marriage of Enoch Tonkin and Anne Stephens. Although not stated, it is possible they were both widowed at the time of marriage. More in your other thread. CT
