The 'garden path' needs some weeding I think!!!
I have just had a look at IGI for Richard Henry Beare and it seems some nice 'kind patron' has been adding a bit of their own unsourced material!
There are four unsourced entries for a Richard J Beare in Randwick, NSW - born 1884, married 1906, died 1909.
Just thought I would mentioned that as a matter of possible interest.
However the one you are interested in has four entries:-
1. Richard Henry Beare - Birth 1865 Beaconsfield, Tasmania - UNSOURCED
2. Richard Henry Beare -
Birth 1865 Beaconsfield, Tasmania
Death 18Nov1936 Hobart, Tasmania
Spouse Mary Elizabeth Jenkin
Marriage 07Feb1891 Beaconsfield, Tasmania
All UNSOURCED
3. Same as the last one only linked by the marriage entry.
4. This one is the ONLY one which has an IGI Batch Number (M310488)
RICHARD HENRY BEARE age 26 married MARY ELIZABETH JENKIN age 21 7th February 1891 TASMANIA
There is no mention of an actual town.
Now - using the Archives Search Portal - Tasmania - I found something interesting.
This site is linked to the Tasmanian Government Archives site and the detail shown here for the marriage does actual mention that it took place at Beaconsfield.
There are also three children mentioned.
To save mucking around I will add the link for you so that you can check it for yourself.
But first of all there is one line of information at the bottom of the page which states:-
"Dates of birth which do not give a place are based upon age at death or marriage and therefore may not be accurate. "
Here is the link -
portal.archives.tas.gov.au/menu.aspx?search=8Just enter BEARE in the surname box anh RICHARD HENRY in the given names box and hit enter/send.
You will then be presented with the search results to the left of which will be an underlined number in blue.
Click on that number and you will get the rest of the information with any further links highlighted.
