Just doesn't work.
Jane Stevens, wife of Thomas Wedge Quick, was indeed the daughter of Job Stevens.
However her father was married to Ann Murt at St Ives in 1824.
So we have:-
Job Stevens m. Cordelia Pearce 13th November 1825 St Ives Job Stevens m. Ann Murt 12th August 1824 St Ives
Both were baptised at St Ives in 1804 and each was the son of another Job.
I have not yet worked out which was which but it seems academic for this particular excercise.
On a paternal line the two Quick wives (Jane Stevens and Alice Stevens Pearce) would have to go back quite a way to find a direct relationship.

Speaking of this couple - they had a daughter named Honor - is she the Honor who married John Richards Quick in 1883 or so and if that is correct was John the son of James Quick and Mary nee Ninnis?

Lannata - answer is yes on both counts. I don't have the actual marriage details but it occurred in 1883 in the June Qtr, Penzance R.D.
