I think the spate of PMs will answer the question! I don't have any idea how that Newspaper Collection is indexed but any details for Trewhella (and variants) and Quick would be interesting. CT

....and hallo Christine from me. We were exchanging messages through Ancestry earlier today. The only Mary Tremelling (various spellings) that I can find is FreeBMD...died Gulval aged 99 in 1846. Unlikely. David

David - I cannot find any Mary Tremelling (var.) registered in FreeBMD deaths for 1846 and there is none recorded in Gulval burials for 1846 either. Could you give me the details please? Also not sure what you are looking for but if it is details for the wife of Nicholas Berryman:- Mary d/o Alexander and Margaret Tremellan bp. 13th July 1746 at Crowan I am not sure when she died but it would probably have been at Towednack. CT: Eng and Wales FreeBMD 1837-1915 Mary Ann Berriman Penzance vol.9 p101 (in response to the search input "Tremelling"..).but, as I have said, unlikely to be the correct person. I was seeking some info. in response to a question from Christine in relation to Christopher Martin (Towednack 1791) and his wife Susannah Berriman (marr.1810). I am not sure whether Christopher is the son of David Martin(s) or of his older brother Christopher. Or neither. Suzannah`s father is Nicholas Berriman, mother Mary Tremelling. Nicholas willed his estate in Towednack to Suzannah and a witness to that 1807 Will is David Martins....so David M. may be the father of Christopher.
David.

David - not sure where 'age 99' came from but I can tell you more about Mary Ann Berriman who died March Qtr 1846 Vol 9 Page 101.
Mary Ann Berriman of Church Town age 2 weeks buried 5th January 1846 at Zennor
I will be looking further at the Christopher Martin scenario over the next couple of days.

Just a thought - while I was going through some of the LDS archives in Salt Lake City, Utah, (USA)
I noticed the age 99 would come up a lot - I inquired and was told - if the age is unknown, many
times they would put in 99! No explanation why.
