Whilst looking through an obituary, I came across the following from "The Marazion & District Advertiser" dated 26 October 1929: "Marazion and St Michael's Mount Ex-Service Men's Club: The annual meeting of marazion and St Michael's Mount ex-Service Men's Club was held on Tuesday and officated over by Rev W G H Ward. The officals were elected as follows: President - Brigadier General Lord St Levan; Vice Presidents - Lady Ebury, Adjt. R R Michell, Capt. W Herbert Bartlett, Mr T N Manners, Mr and Mrs S Greenwood Penny and Miss Redford; Chairman - Rev. W G ard; Honorary Treasurer - CAPTAIN H B TREWHELLA; Honorary Secretary - Mr W Rundle; Committee - (various names which I can type if anyone wants them Games Secretary - Mr M Bryant. A vote of thanks to Mr W H Radmore for his services during the past 11 years was, on the proposition of the Vicar, carried unanimously. MR TREWHELLA moved a vote of thanks to Mr Ward for his services as Chairman, which was also carried unanimously. It was decided that Mr E Eddy become lamplighter until such time as electric light will be installed." There you go. Nothing earth shattering, but as I had the obit on the same piece of yellowed paper, thought it was a sign I should type it up. It's always good to add detail to names

That would be Harry Benney Trewhella who was born at Lelant April 6th, 1888. He married Olivia Winifred Maddern Andrewartha August 3rd, 1918. Harry died at Truro July 20th, 1973 and was buried at Lelant. His eldest child was Hugh Kingsley Trewhella, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner of 150 Squadron, RAF, who was shot down and killed in action over Germany May 11th, 1941. He is buried in the British Military Cemetery at Soltad.
I have had contact with, and met, some of the family and I believe at least one or two are still living in Cornwall.
