Hi,Adele, and welcome to this site. (We have already been in contact!) Incidentally, I have have some ROWEs on my Tree but I can find no obvious direct link to Quick. (William E.Rowe 1819-1903, Penzance, wife Hannah Giles Williams 1826-1901?) David

Hello Adele & CT etc
Just a small query on this family. The Ann (Nanny) Matthews that Adele refers to - wife of Matthew Quick - I am guessing was the daughter of Charles Matthews and Kitty Hollow - yes? If that is the case, was Charles Matthews the son of John Matthews and Elizabeth Quick who married in 1779 at Zennor?
I have three direct connections between the QUICK and ROWE families, and they are: - Israel Quick & Mary Rowe married Towednack 8/12/1827. - Richard Eddy Quick & Lavinia Rowe married Porthleven 28/5/1848. - Martha Jane Laity Quick & Benjamin Rowe married at Paul 14/7/1884.

Lannanta - I had a quick look at this last night and it is my belief that Charles Matthews was certainly the son of John Matthews and Elizabeth Quick.
