Hi CT
This is from the Nancy Quick daughter of Robert tread.
I have Richard Quick son of Nathaniel Williams Quick and Susannah Sandow married to Honor Paynter in about 1865
Their eldest daughter Honor Paynter Quick was born 1869 Ballarat Australia and I have the youngest child of Nathaniel and Honor - a daughter Lystra born in 1871 in Bungaree, Australia
They travelled to Victoria in August 1865 on board the "London"
If Richarch married in Australia in 1871 who did he marry and was he a widower?
Have I got the right Richard or have I got my Richards mixed up?

Sarch - looks like you have the wrong Richard here. Halesetown Marriages 16 Mar 1865 by Licence Richard Quick 26 bachelor Miner of Halse Town (Father: Billy Noall Quick, Miner) Honor Paynter 19 spinster of St. Ives (Father: Richard Paynter, Master mariner) Witnesses: Richard Paynter, William Hosking, Elizabeth Paynter The eldest daughter was Elizabeth who was born at Ballarat in 1867. Who is Nathaniel and Honor - or do you mean Richard and Honor? Ah yes - you do mean Richard and yes the youngest daughter was Lystra. But then there was another child, Richard Paynter Quick, born at St Ives 17th March 1876 and baptised 29th January 1877 St Ives Methodist New Connexion. The family was then living at Teetotal Row, St Ives. Richard son of Nathaniel and Susannah was married in Victoria in 1871 to Catherine Amonica OSBORNE and he died at Prahran in 1921 at the age of 77. CT
