Welcome back George - I am afraid I got no further with this one and found myself diverted in all directions for quite some time.
Lelant at that time is certainly a problem and records are sparse so it may require checking for Wills.
If there are no relevant Bryant Wills available then there is Hoskin or, for that matter, any other Will from Lelant.
If you check Kathie's (Zenobia) Home Page you will find 14 volumes of Wills abstracts that will be worth having a look through. Kathie has listed all names included in each document so they are reasonably easy to work through.
Another possibility is to see what Bryants might have been at Lelant in 1662 and 1664 via the Hearth Tax and then try the Protestation Returns of 1641.
These will give you some clues and may even indicate that the family was from another Parish.
You could also try the National Archives site and search on the name and you may well find something.
And there is also the Cornwall Record Office Online site. This site will give you an idea of what Wills are available and I believe they can be ordered online.
Let's use that as a starting point and see what can be found.
