Hi there!
I have three marriages:
1. Nanny Reed Russell of Sithney who married James Glasson of Sithney on 6 Oct 1845
2. Susan Russell of Sithney who married William Glasson of Breage on 18 Oct 1836
3. Lucy Russell of Sithney who married Thomas Glasson of Wendron on 1 Dec 1842.
I know where the Glasson boys fit in, but can anyone tell me if the three Russell girls were sisters?
Thanks!
Carole

Lucy, wife of Thomas Glasson, was buried on the 12th March 1896 at Sithney. One of their children was named Susan Reed GLASSON
Nanny, wife of James Glasson, was buried on the 22nd August 1904 at Sithney. One of their children was named James Russell GLASSON.
Susan Russell, wife of William Glasson, died on the 6th August 1907 at North Sydney in Australia. One of their children was named Susan Reed Russell GLASSON and another was named James Russell GLASSON.

But, oh dear, the REED RUSSELL GLASSONS - all too much coming on top of the TREWEEKE GLASSONS I've just been looking at. Eliza GLASSON (d/o John Glasson and Mary Glasson of Breage - probably first cousins) married George TREWEEKE on 27 Aug 1828. They had a daughter MARY GLASSON TREWEEKE (plus of course two Treeweeke son's who emigrated to Australia and married their Glasson first cousins) who married JOSEPH GLASSON of Wendron on 13 Aug 1872 - making her married name Mary GLASSON GLASSON. Mary and Joseph then had a son GEORGE TREWEEKE GLASSON. I dare not look at who he married!!! Seriously though, other than the intermarriages of these generations, do you know of any earlier connections between the Glassons of Breage/Crowan and those of Sithney/Wendron...or maybe I shouldn't ask!!! Have a great weekend. Carole
