A quick one for you when you are on board again.
Elizabeth Quick, aged 80 years, appears in the 1861 census at the house of Richard C. Ninnis at Street an Poll in Illogan. She is listed as the mother of Elizabeth Ninnis and as a miller's widow.
Would I be correct in saying that she is in fact the grandmother of Elizabeth Ninnis, and therefore the wife of Richard Quick the miller?

I do think you mean St Ives! Yes - this was Elizabeth DANIEL who married Richard QUICK at St Ives 16th August 1798. I dealt with this confusion in an earlier thread but it was probably around the time you were scrutinising the insides of a series of pint glasses in Cornwall. ;D CT
