Apparently, the Cornwall Centre have transcripts of burials in Gwennap from 1628 till 1845. I will try and check there today to see if I can find a burial of either Matthew or John Rogers. Was Grace's second marriage also in Gwennap?

I haven't had chance to get to the Cornwall Centre yet, but I did find the following deaths online on the OPC's website:
Matthew Rogers, buried Gwennap 12 December 1792 Matthew Rogers, buried Gwennap 31 May 1793 (this date was marked as 30th then altered to 31st in Register) Matthew Rogers, buried Gwennap 18 December 1793
I could find no record of a burial of a John Rogers in the area in the right timescale. I would, therefore, say it was Matthew Rogers that made Grace a widow, although which Matthew if any of the above it was is another matter However, there could be a burial of a John Rogers in a different area, if they didn't stay in Gwennap.

I managed to pop into the Cornwall Centre quickly, and had a look at the Gwennap transcriptions for you. I don't know if you already have this detail, but here it is.
Marriages:
22 November 1790 John Rogers, Sojourner in this Parish, Bachelor, and Grace Rowe, Sojourner in this Parish, Spinster (both of this Parish) John signed his name; Grace signed herself as "Rough". Witnesses: James Chynoweth and Sampson Chynoweth
26 December 1790 Mathew (Matthew), Sojourner in this Parish, Bachelor, and Grace Clemmoe, Spinster They both made their mark, Mathew's looks like a curly "2" and Grace's looks like a curly X. Witnesses: Hugh Donnithorne and Henry Rogers.
6 April 1795 Glassom, Charles, Bachelor, and Grace Rogers, Widow (Spinster)
He signed "Glasson"; she made her mark, which looked like a curly "X" with 2 strokes on the left to right half of it. Witnesses: Peter Godrey and John Skinner.
There was no additional information of ages, etc, in the burial transcriptions regarding Mathew Rogers. I did find 2 burials for a John Rogers, these being on 4 February 1798 and another on 17 January 1800.
There were only 2 baptisms of a Grace Rogers, these were: Grace Rogers, dau of John and Jennifer bapt. 30 August 1807 Grace Rogers, dau of John and Jane bapt. 25 December 1808
That's all I've had time to look at so far. Maybe the witnesses at the weddings will give us some sort of clue. At the moment the above is raising more questions instead of answering any

Firstly thankyou very much for your efforts, I really didn't expect you to get on your bicycle and head off to the Cornwall Centre, so the fact you did is very much appreciated.
I agree with your conclusions as I tried a little harder after my post and found similar information to that you posted. The information will add to the datbase but I think that they are not quite the family I am looking for, and even if they were I cannot prove it.
I might send you a pm later and ask a bit about the Cornwall Centre as I am looking to head your way in the next wee while.
