OK...I'll bite, but it's just a little nibble. I have some interest in Catherine Curnow married to Thomas Bohenna. I'm mostly interested in the Bohennas. Catherine Curnow and Thomas Bohenna were married in 1796. Thomas died in Lelant, was born in Kea. They had 9 children, two of whom married Penberthys, and it was I think to Sarah Bohenna Penberthy and husb. Isaac that John Brodribb a.k.a. Irving was sent in his childhood.

Ok - now you have 'taken the bait'! Can you tell me the date of marriage for Thomas Bohenna and Catherine Curnow and, also, just where they were married? I have not found it in IGI and it does not appear to be at Lelant according to my Phillimore & Taylor Transcript. I have found 7 children baptised at Lelant and St Ives so further information would be appreciated. Catherine Curnow was, as I understand things, baptised at St Ives 30 Nov 1772 as d/o Paul Curnow and Sarah (nee Ninnes) and she was apparently buried at Lelant 5 May 1841. Will be awaiting further.

Well thank you for providing parents for her! I had no idea I'd get them so easily. I have a marriage date of 1796, and as I remember I got that info in some, now forgotten, roundabout way. So unfortunately I have nothing further on that. From an obituary online I noted that her husband died 1839. For children I have Mary, Sarah, Catherine, Eliza, Thomas, Charlotte, Joshua, Jane, and Nanny.

Ok - thanks for that and I will take another look later. I believe I may have now just solved another Trewhella mystery so will probably be working on that for a while.
