A booklet entitled '1,000 Cornish Place-names Explained' offers the following:- Fraddon - poss. Small Stream Fraddon is the name of a village just off the A30 between in St Enoder Parish in Cornwall. CT PS - VB will do very nicely!

It's quite a coincidence that your third cousin posted on the SA Genealogy Facebook Group yesterday about her John Fradd (1804-1891)born Cornwall, died SA.
