Many of us have some sort of connection with Canada via the migration of ancestors so this newly released online resource will be of interest. If you would like to know more about it then simply Google 'Canadiana Discovery Portal' and there are a number of articles about it. Or you can just jump right in and start having a look around:- www.canadiana.ca/en/homeThis link is an umbrella for the portal but also contains a link for Early Canadiana Online. It is a free resource and only in the Beta phase at the moment but it does look interesting. I have just found references to two Trewella families so I have to be happy! CT

Ooooh...... Didn't get how to search it at first, but now have - & I've found reference to 2 Curnows - although unlike CT who can probably place his Trewhella Canadian finds, I can't yet place mine - but I will eventually! Sue

Actually one of those is a little elusive at the moment! Death notice for a W. G. Trewella who is not in my database. I know which family he 'should' belong to anyway. CT
