Hello all Was sent this link and thought I would share it www.penleehouse.org.uk/Go to "Collections", then "Social History & Decorative Arts", pages of interesting items some connected to local people. Also, "Photography", a few QUICK's and BRANWELL's (of Branwell/Bronte) to name but a few. Well worth a look. Best regards HeatherC

Thankyou Heather - and most certainly worth a look! I have just found additional information with one of my Trewhella families. You referred to the names Branwell and Quick. Lannanta, amongst others, will be interested to do a search on Quick as there is an image of a poem written by Henry Quick. But I have now found information on the Branwell side with 25 hits for Trewhella all referring to the Branwell family. The Elizabeth Trewhella who has identified the photographs was Elizabeth Primrose Tregurtha Hancock who married Matthew Frank Barrett Trewhella. Elizabeth's parents were Allen Coulter Hancock and Vera Primrose Branwell. Matthew Trewhella was a grandson of William Trewhella and Harriet Michell Rosewall and descends from the Trewhella family of Trewyn, St Ives. CT
