At time of property settlement, wife had died and property was divided equally among children: John Glasson and Annie Glasson Carson.* E.F.Spence testifies he is president of the First National of Los Angeles and knew Josiah Glasson under the name Glasson and also as Josiah Trewhella. He knew him in Nevada County "20 years ago" and corresponded with him "for years".He testified Glasson was about 60 years of age about 4 or 5 years ago. "His name was Josiah Glasson but he said he was advised by Council to use the name Trehella and requested me to do business with him in the name of Josiah Glasson Trewhella.
*Annie Glasson married W.Carson
This Josiah Glasson, of course, was the son of John Glasson and Elizabeth Trewhella, so he did have some right to the name...
