Sue - although a huge amount of work has been done on the Quick families there are some areas that are still not complete ... and this is one of them!
Around this time our efforts are thwarted by the fact that there are many records missing.
Between 1705 and 1720 there are gaps in the Towednack records with only some BTs still in existence.
And apart from some BTs records for Lelant really only begin from 1716
Zennor records prior to 1713 are covered by some BTs but are difficult to get and while there is very good coverage for St Ives from about 1653 the registers are often very difficult to read with a lot of fading and other damage compounded by the fact that entries are squeezed together with very fine handwriting.
It is unfortunate that these just happen to be the areas involving most of our Quicks.
And although the name Prudence is not overly common it just happens that around the time in question we have an over-abundence of them in the Quick families!
So the answer to your question is - UNKNOWN.
Aside from Prudence Varryan who married Benedict Quick there was another unknown Prudence who was the wife of Thomas Quick.
This Thomas is currently believed to have been the son of Francis and Elizabeth and he was buried 14th September 1717 at Towednack.
It is probably as much for this reason as any other that I think it was his widow Prudence who married Hugh Geene at Towednack 12th November 1717.
There is certainly a quandary about this at the moment.
Prudence widow of Benedict was still a widow in May 1717 when she was granted Admon. of her husband's estate.
Prudence wife of Thomas was widowed but there was only two months between the burial of Thomas and the marriage to Hugh Geene as opposed to six months in the case of Benedict's widow.
A note in my database shows that in 1997 I had received information from another source suggesting it was the widow of Thomas who married Hugh Geene but in reality it would seem it really could have been either Prudence.
There are Admon. papers for Thomas Quick in 1725, his wife Mary (Cubert) in 1740 and daughter Mary in 1742 but nothing in any of these makes mention of the Geene family or of his mother Prudence.
What we do know from these documents is that the children of Thomas and Prudence were:-
Zenobia m. Henry Hichens 12th August 1695 St Ives
Prudence bp. 3rd October 1679 Towednack married John Noall 24th November 1702 St Ives
Thomas bp. 24th September 1683 Towednack married Mary Cubert 31st January 1721 St Ives
And from the St Ives PR there was also daughter Martha baptised 18th July 1686 at St Ives.
Whichever Prudence married Hugh Geene it still leaves the dilemma of a burial for her counterpart.
Currently I can do no better than that although I will see if I can find a burial for Prudence Geene.
The Photo - It is extremely difficult to make out anything much from this photograph but there appears also to be mention of his grandchildren.
I cannot make out much of the date but it looks possible that it 'might' be 1811 in which case this would be the grandson of Benedict and Prudence.
Thomas son of Benedict and Mary Quick bp. 3rd January 1743.
Finally - a note about your reference to IGI BATCH P014781
For anyone using this Batch Number as a source for baptisms please note that ALL dates from 1st January to 24th March prior to 1753 (change of Calendar)
have already had the year component updated by one year! This is one of those numerous examples in the IGI Batch numbers where the transcribers in their wisdom
decided that the Old dates should conform with the New dates.
This can be most confusing!!!
The date as it appears in the St Ives Parish Register is -
January 1st 1711.The entry reads:-
Benedict son of Benedict Quick January 1st
It is then followed by a further seven entries for 1711 before the words
Anno Domini 1712.

BTW - Prudence wife of Hugh Geen miller buried 24th October 1737 St Ives
